Central location was a plus.

The restaurant was good for breakfasts. My room included a small fridge, coffee and tea making equipment, and a TV with DVD player. This hotel was set in a central area right by restaurants and shops in downtown Sonora, and the Yosemite valley.

Marvellous and perfect setting, I had excellent time.
I greatly enjoyed the stay. The property was fairly clean, the room was huge. I stayed in the room that was not clean or updated and available with laundry, microwave plus the WiFi.

Very kind and helpful staff, quiet place and ideal as a stopover to Yosemite.
Breakfast is a bit scarce but in line with the low budget, you can't expect more.

It was conveniently located as a rest stop from the Sacrameto airport before going to Yosemite National Park and a great start and stop point to continue on up the 49. Black Chasm was our next point of interest. A great orchard is located on 49 which enabled us to enjoy some great fresh fruit on our journey. The pool was great and enjoyed by a couple in our group. The scenery was fabulous and the town quaint. Carrying your breakfast to your room was the only inconvenience; especially, since we were not aware we had to bring the tray that was under the coffee pot in our room which made for two trips.

We stayed at this hotel to visit Yosemite National Park. It takes two hours from the hotel to the park's visitor's center, we decided to stay there when comparing it with the prices of the hotels that are closer, were already very expensive. hotel is quite good, room and bathroom are spacious, it is clean, bed is very comfortable. It also has a fridge and a coffee maker in the room. bathroom is also well equipped. It has parking although always complete, you can park in the same street of the hotel. It is close to gas stations, restaurants (although almost all close at 9 pm). swimming pool is not used. I recommend it for its value for money, if you want to visit Yosemite, maybe I would take one closer.
Breakfast is very basic: coffee and machine juices to drink and to eat bread, jam, butter, cereals and muffins.

perfect stop for exploring downtown attractions and parks
I loved how centrally the hotel was situated, just over a kilometer away, and the charming cafes nearby provided a great spot to relax after exploring. The breakfast was also a highlight, with plenty of tasty options to start the day right.

Motel in the middle of Sonora's main avenue, a few meters away from downtown (very attractive) and many shops. The room is also quite large and comfortable, with easy parking, and although the room was in a secondary building, it did not mean any harm. By chance, there was a parade in town that Saturday, and I was able to enjoy it from the entrance of the room/balcony/common area.
Something expensive for what it offers and for how old it is (you can see it on the furniture, on the TV, etc., at least in this secondary building), it seems to be a general rule in the U. S. A. pretty basic breakfast and absence of a refrigerator in the room (of the equipment that is usually offered, it is the one that I use the most generally). There was an oblivion regarding the postal packages received, by me and by the staff of the Inns of California, that was finally solved, not in the most agile way possible.

very good service, nice little town, after a long days hike the hot tub is esp good. Sad that they close the pool/spa area at 10pm already.
if your room faces the road it can be quite loud in the morning. Also the rooms are getting really hot during the day because of the outlay/design of the hotel. So you have to run the AC to get it cool (which is such a waste).

The breakfast room is tiny but they had quick instant oatmeal. Consider arriving early to grab a spot during busy times.

It was convenient to the quaint shops downtown; good walking distance to restaurants and shops. Rooms are fairly comfortable but parking can be a problem.
The cramped area for the continental breakfast that they serve and the lighting in the rooms. They really need a better flow on the set up.
